Solutions Designer and Content Creator

 I began working online over 20 years ago through eBay, before finishing high-school, while holding a part-time job as a translator and editor for a local publishing house.

  In December 2006, I started working as a freelancer full time. Though I was primarily a translator, I also exercised a multitude of skills, learned through my work in publishing, as well as by participating in the Math Olympics, attending university (Film Studies), and developing websites for fun in my free time.

Since then I have participated in hundreds of projects, ranging from web development to voice over acting, ghostwriting and photo retouching. I excel particularly at urgent projects, those that require daily progress, as well as those that involve large amounts of data and require complex organizational skills. I have been involved in digital marketing since the start of my career, 17 years ago, and specifically in social media marketing and growth hacking since 2015. I possess ample knowledge on platforms, best practices, ads management, and content creation. I also have a creative yet analytical eye, which allows me to innovate while making use of tried and tested formulas. I love writing and have done so in all its forms, from fiction and technical writing, to web content and sales copywriting. I am succinct and efficient, and can engage the emotions of the reader in an effective and nuanced manner. As for other skills I possess, I am a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, familiar with international versions of the language which makes me able to adapt my writing to neutral and localized projects. I am also completely fluent in English since childhood, and have (from basic to advanced) knowledge of Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Russian, and Swedish. I'm a proficient Web Developer with experience in HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP, and mobile products. And I can also design and create media content in all its forms: image, video, audio, and text. Besides all my tech experience, I have worked a few service jobs (food service and retail), and engaged in care work, which has allowed me develop skills that are rare in the tech world. Among these, I have learned how important quick thinking, adaptability, humility, and a positive outlook are. They also taught me how to keep customers happy and improve the sales process, and the great difference a properly structured environment (with clear dates and goals) makes. All that being said, I feel that my greatest pride is my attitude and ability to connect with my clients. I am highly empathetic, which makes me able to pinpoint their needs succinctly, but also, to remain objective and focus on the task at hand, so I can better help them succeed by using my outside perspective to find solutions that may have been out of reach before.
